We REACH OUT to people so they may WORSHIP God, CONNECT with His people, GROW in Jesus Christ and SERVE others.
Our Core Values Are:
- To love the Father Jesus lived for - Worship is not what we do, but it is who we are. Intimacy with the Father is not found in a song, but in a heart turned toward the Father. A life laid down before the Lord is the true definition of worship
- To Love the church Jesus paid for - Equipping the body of Christ is not only scriptural, but it is essential for developing mature, stable and confident Christians who truly walk in the authority provided to them through Christ. We believe the elders role is to equip and resource the people of God for the work of ministry. It is not enough to just love the Father; we must love one another as Christ loved us.
- To Love the world Jesus died for - Evangelism and outreach bring life to the small, four walls of the church. We should have a passion for the lost, broken, lonely and hurting people who need to know about a Savior who died for them. We are his hands and feet, reaching out to our world for His kingdom, locally and globally.
- Bottom-line: We believe the elder's are to be "overseers," not "over-doers." Our desire is to preach and teach the Word of God in such a way as to ignite a passion in the hearts of the people for the Glory of God in service to one another, and to engage our city and culture with the gospel, to become a culture of light within a culture of darkness.
